RULES AND REGULATIONS
These are the public rules that each Green Beret member must follow in order to continue succession through the Green Beret. If you are accepted into the clan, there are more rules to be followed.
Policies
Policies are rules that are enforced to maintain order and vetting in the clan. May or may not get you removed
1.) If you are currently in another Dayz clan, you must leave the clan. This is a one clan rule policy. (This doesn't apply to games that are not Dayz. For example, if you were in a Counter Strike or Arma clan.)
2.) All members are required to attempt to find gear towards our uniform. If you are spawning, please make sure your shirt you spawn with is green, or focus on wearing green items. More importantly, wear green berets - or a green hat - as well as USMC woodland, as this will help us easily identify ourselves in combat. This is our dress code policy. Official active dress code is listed below.
3.) Stay active. If you are not active for a period of time (1-2 weeks) without telling an administrator like myself, you will be put under suspension and can remake an application. If however, you can explain your absences, you will be excused in an allotted time slot. This is our absence policy.
4.) Reporting another member in the clan is serious. Reporting another player must mean that they have directly broken the rules in this thread, or if you feel like they have done something wrong. If you wish to talk to an admin privately, you must contact one via Steam, Teamspeak3, or by any other means. Do not go out of your way to attack or harass the reported player or take things into your own hands. This is our reporting policy.
5.) Everyone is required to be mature, responsible, and believable. Failure to do so will result in serious consequences. You are also required to have the requirements to join our clan found on the Application Format thread. This is our requirements and maturity policy.
6.) We are a friendly clan. This means we do not attack unless attacked, or unless we are provoked by other players. Failure for a member to do so will result in serious consequences. This is our friendly policy.
7.) Our name tags are identified by '=TGB=' . While we are in a large group or to identify yourself as a proud Green Beret member on steam, wear this tag. Furthermore, it is mandatory that the tag =TGB= is in your name to represent being a part of the clan whilst in-game unless requested otherwise by an officer. Wrong tags (such as 'TGB' '[TGB]' or 'TGG' etc.) will result in a reprimand from a commanding officer. This is our name tag policy.
8.) Maintain your name throughout all platforms. Do not come in with different names on steam, teamspeak3, dayz, or any other platform. It is an annoyance that no one should have to deal with or remember. If you are changing your name, you must change it through all platforms you use and inform the commander. This is our naming policy.
9.) We do not expect everyone to be amazing at Dayz, however, we expect some knowledge of the game itself, such as locations and the uses of items. If you need to brush up before making an application, I'd suggest that you'd do so. This is our experience policy.
10.) Recruits and Enlistee Mercenaries are to not be given any information about base locations, documents, or other similar information in the clan. This is our recruit policy
11.) Channels in the Guest Lobbies are locations where not every mandated rule is applied. Ops cannot be performed here. Channels bellow the spacer labeled "=TGB= Channels" to the offices are where the rules will be fully enforced. Operations must be performed here. Other channels are optional areas to be in and are also considered casual lobbies. It is at the discretion of the commanding officer to where the members shall play dayz in. If this is found broken, there will be consequences. This is our operations and channel policy.
12.) No member, especially recruits, shall disregard an order. The consequence will follow if broken. This is our order policy.
Regulations
Under the highest honor will these rules be enforced
1.) Do not harm another Green Beret member via any means without consent of the other member
2.) Do not kill another Green Beret member via any means without consent of the other member
3.) Do not provoke another player/kill another player without reason. Includes randoms and other members
4.) Do not say or do anything racist against another player/member. This includes saying things in the TeamSpeak, in steam, or any other means of communication whether it be on purpose or to joke around. This is not tolerated and will be dealt with immediately
5.) Do not say anything that will offend or hurt another player/member. This is not tolerated and will be dealt with immediately
6.) Do not do anything another member does not consent to
7.) Do not hack while in the clan. This includes dupping, changing game files, etc. Doing so will get you banned.
8.) Do not use plugins/soundboards that are an annoyance to the clan playing - includes music, ear rape, loud sounds, or dayz related sounds
9.) Do not communicate with enemies of the Green Beret. The administration team, without explicit permission of speech toward enemies, is considered treason if information of base locations/ourselves is given out. Clans/Individuals on our list that are considered enemies will be considered as such. If someone on the list joins the TeamSpeak, tell an admin - he will handle it personally. If you have a question about someone on the list, ask an administrator.
10.) Members will not seek out clans that we are friendly with (i.e attacking or raiding bases of theirs) or any other clans without the authorization of the commander. Doing so will result in serious consequences.
Mercenary Rules
1.) Mercenaries must follow all of the rules besides any inactivity rules and the one clan rule policy. They may show up whenever they want and will not be bothered with reminders, messages, or attendance rules. Will still be subject to announcements and changes.
2.) Must be up to date with everything we do despite any inactivity.
3.) Mercenaries will rank up differently than regular enlisted: Enlistee > 2nd Class > 1st Class
4.) Mercenaries will not be able to command anyone higher than Private First Class and thus cannot hold power or office in the clan.
Please note that if you do not follow these rules whilst in the clan, there will be resulting consequences. If you feel like you have been banned wrongly, feel free to make a ban appeal 3 days after you have been banned.
